ANZAC DAY

Anzac day occurs on 25 April.
It commemorates all newzealanders killed in war and also honours returned servicemen and women.
This day is we remember newzealanders and austrailian who have fought and died in all wars.
In austrailia anzac ledge has two states.

Our country has seems like anzacday.
That is 6th of june every years.
we should think about anzac day.

ANZAC Day

On April 25th, every  Australian and New Zealander commemorate Anzac Day.
It is New Zealand's sacred day because lots of intrepid soilders died on that day.
Anzac means Australia New Zealnd Army Core.
When Turks proclaimed war 87,000 turks people died and 8500 Australians died also
2721 New Zelanders died. That's so sad.
Anzac joined many wars,and joined World War1, Vietnam War and Korean War.
I amazing because ANZAC joined Korean War, so most Korean people thank you for them.
In World War 1 seventy thousand New Zealand's  people died.
They died about 1/61 of new zealand population.
ANZAC wanted peace and  freedom so we should carry on the spirit of their worth.

Anzac day is about remembering the people that died in world war 1 and 2 and all the other wars NZ and Australia have been in.

It is on April the 25 and people wear red Poppy's and have a parade and sing and see veterans of the wars marching in the cold

'AHHHHH it's a alien invasion' Aliens don't exist but if they did I think aliens would have 1 eye be big fat gooey green things and they would speak gibberish but you would find one like the B.F.G accept the B.F.A(big friendly alien) and when you get invaded he would be with the humans and then a mad scientist would turn him human and they would have 4 arms and no feet he or her would just slither around.Many scientist have said they have seen flying sources but i just think they are weirdos so for all you weirdos out there find a new Hobie.

ANZAC day is celebrated on the 25th of April. ANZAC day is celebrated with a dawn service early in the moring ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps. The symbol of the Anzacs is the poppy .



On 25 April 1915, eight months into the First World War, New Zealand and Australian soldiers landed on the shores of the Gallipoli peninsula. This was Turkish territory that formed part of one of Germany's allys, the Ottoman Empire. The troops were there as part of a plan to open the Dardanelles Strait to the Allied fleets, allowing them to scare the Ottoman capital Constantinople and, it was hoped that the Turkish would surrender. The Allied forces encountered expected tough resistance from the Turkish, and both sides suffered enormous loss of lives.



The final death tollfrom dieing in action was 46,000 and another 225,000 died from acciendents or drowning which is very sad. A total of 2721 New Zealanders died.

What is Anzac day about

Anzac day was celebrated on the 25th of April.

Anzac day was the day the Australian and New Zealand corps. That was the day our army of soldiers died to protect our beautiful country. Some people from New Zealand volunteered to protect this country we are living in.

 The day the war began was in April 25 at 1915 on Gallipoli Peninsula.

The official dawn service on Anzac day was in 1927 in Sydney Centopah. Almost 8000 of New Zealand and Australian army corps died. The official Anzac day was help in April 25th 1916. Anzac day was not a public holiday till the beginning of 1921 on New Zealand and Australia. How ever it was not observed uniformly in all the States.

Poppies where the symbols for Anzac. The color red was called poppy plant it was the first to grow and bloom from the mud and blood.For another symbol for Anzac is the biscuit called "Oat Biscuit". It was the biscuit made homemade and was sent to the Australian and New Zealand.

This is some pictures of the army soldiers most of the people in this pictures was a hero to New Zealand. These graves have been the memory for the corps of the Australian and New Zealand army team.

ANZAC

Anzac is a day to remember those who lost there lives in gallipoli. Anzac means Australian New Zealand Army Core this is one of the most important event in New Zealand because alot of brave soldiers died on that day. The war began in 1915 on the 25th of April when the turks declared war. 87,000 turks died 44,000 men from France and the British Empire, including 8500 Australians. To this day, Australia also marks the events of 25 April. Among the dead were 2721 New Zealanders, almost one in four of those who served on Gallipoli. We need to remember this day for all those people that died for us.
