What are Scissors?

Scissors are hand operated tool that are use everyday in our life. It has to metal blades attach on the handles to help cut materials such as paper,clothing,string etc.

A pair of scissors have two pivoted blades. In the lower quality scissors, the blades on the scissors are normally bunt or not so sharp. These scissors are normally used for kindergarten or primary schools. In the higher quality scissor, the blades are extremely sharp. These scissors are used for professional designers.

Most scissors are best suited for right hands but there are also scissors that are specially made for left hands too. All through the design for the left hand scissors loos just like the right hand ones there is a big difference. The left hand scissor blade are lighter so the users can have easier access.

The handle on the scissors are to help us control the scissor so it doesn't cut in the wrong place. These handle can be on different sizes. For bigger pairs of scissors the handle will have to be bigger to get more control, some can also need two hand to control. For smaller ones the handle will be smaller and will only need two fingers to control.

Scissors are a big help to office workers and people all age. That is why I chose this object to write about.
