On February 22nd at 12.51pm there was another massive earthquake in Christchurch.
While my Mother was talking with my aunt by telephone the earthquake struck.
I was at school. When some room12 friends and me were changing the school uniform to the sports clothes the earthquake stuck. Some people were afraid. We were going to the big field.
Many people were afraid and cried but some people just laughed. I wasn't scared.Billy wasn't scared either.
We had a book and read it a little.
Soon our parents came to the school to take us home.
My Mum took my sister, Billy and me.
Mum was took Billy to my house because the earthquake struck and very many cars on the road to take their children and Billy's Mum thought 'I will be late' and she packed Billy's clothes, her clothes and bought some foods.
Billy and his Mum stayed in my house for 2weeks.
His house had many cracks on the walls.
Many workplaces, houses, churches and some buildings in Christchurch were broken down and badly damaged.
I saw a car squashed by in Ricarton. I was sad.
The CTV building was broken down and many people died there.
As a result of this tremor many people were injured or killed.
Some lucky people were rescued.
Most neighbours who I know were fine, but a Korean old woman was at the swimming pool.
She bruised on her leg because she crashed her leg on the tiles.
I am very worried about her.
Lots of kind heroic people risked their lives to help or save others.
Now, Christchurch and its people feel shocked and sad. I feel surprised and sad because in Korea we do not have many earthquakes.
We must all try to stay cheerful and to do our best.
We will rebuild this city and make it safe and lovely place again.

ReplyDeleteYou need to go back through this and edit the spaces so it is clear to the reader. Try to consistently use the past tense with your verbs e.g knew not know, I was instead of I am.
