Sudden jolt By Jordan

It was a wet morning in Christchurch and we thought it was gonna be a peaceful day, my friends Jackie and Henry and me where doing normal everyday type of stuff.

At lunch time we just talked about stuff like every other day.After that when I was coming inside from lunch I looked at what we were doing for today it said PE, so i put my gear on before my friends then I went outside and told my friends that they needed to get changed for PE.So they went inside and got changed into PE clothes. I think they were pretty slow at getting changed. I was just playing by the door frame when my friend Jackie got changed first and talked to me in the cloakbay. Then we just randomly went into the door frame, then BOOM the bags were swinging everywhere. Lots of things where falling down around me and Jackie when we stood in the door frame. I was looking straight ahead, I was frozen.I didnt know what Henry was doing. He was still in the toilet, then Henry got changed quick but a little bit before that I walked out side and saw some SCREAMING GIRLS.

Then Henry was done and he ran out with us and saw teachers telling us to go to the field, so we ran there and my friends walked and talked there SLOWLY because we were shocked with all that had happened. So we were all on the field sitting there, and my teacher called out the roll and said we need to go back inside so we walked into Mr Barr's room and said we needed to go back outside because there was another aftershock that went BOOM again. I ran out again forgetting my book because i was running too fast. We were all on the field again and my mum came to pick me up and we went to Burnside High School to pick up my sister.
