I think that blog posting is NOT a waist of time. Why? Well firstly blog posting can let you see what your friends are up too. You don't have to pick up the phone or go and meet them. You just type up a post and there, your friends will see the post and will know what you've been up to no matter if your oversea or anywhere. You can also comment on the post that your friend post on. Its like Facebook except you cant chat or play games on it. Posting can also help you see what homework you have this week like what Me Barr does. Each week Mr Barr posts our homework up the blog. If he didn't and think blog posting is a waist of time, who will know what our homework is?
Secondly if there is any change of plan, you can post a post and everyone will be able to see it and know what are the changes. Mondays earthquake for example, we could post a message saying that there is no school on Tuesday and that it should be back to normal on Wednesday. If the teacher think that blog posting is just a waste of time. We all wouldn't know if we had school on Monday or not!
Blog posting can really help us in some skills such as typing, reading and writing. We type up the message or the things we want people to read and if we type more and more our typing skills will improve. We draft our post and edit them so they make sense. We read the the writing that others have post up.
That's why I think blog posting is NOT a waist of time because its fun and easy!
