In week 4 term 2 sydicate 4 had speech competitions .There was different topics like there is more to life than being a couch potatoe or honor and even about little brothers,I think we can all remember Madeline White's about her brother Barnaby.There was 6 year 7's competeting and 4 year 8's.
Coming in 2nd for year 7 was Micah Heath and his speech was about Honor.And in first place dun dun dada dundun was Emma Clarke with her speech on there is more to life than being a couch potatoe.
And now the year 8 results in 3rd place was Alexis Blackie with her speech about battery farms and free range farms.Then in 2nd equal was Madeline White and Me, Lauren Hall. Madeline's was about her 7 year old brother Barnaby.And mine was 10 ways to freak out your room mate and in first place (drum roll!) Faapena Elia on her dream my favourite part was her chocolate fight yummy.
There was alot of great speeches this year that I never knew that I would meet the expectations.
It was alot of pressure but I got a great time and a new level of confidence.
